![]() ![]() ![]() This should theoretically work by allowing the rubber to compress whenever one of the three wings is hit, but the rubber is too hard and thick for the gimmick to work as intended. The secondary purpose of the rubber on Brave is to create a combination of the "Bound Attack" gimmick that God Valkyrie has and the "Bound Defense" gimmick that Screw Trident has. In addition, the rubber on Brave is relatively hard and doesn't seem to soften to a degree that changes its performance after wearing down through repetitive use. In theory, the three-sided shape and rubber would make Brave excel at delivering strong blows like many of its predecessors, but the front edges of its three wings don't protrude enough, which makes it face a problem similar to that of Winning Valkyrie. As part of the Superking Layer System, Brave is compatible with any Right-Spin or Dual-Spin Superking Chip and Chassis. I’d say go get Brave Valkyre.Ev’.Brave is a Right-Spin Attack Type Ring that features three large wings as the primary points of contact, with rubber covering the beginning of each wing and the gaps between them, creating a shape with above average recoil. Even though it’s contact points aren’t as amazing as Judgement’s, the sheer size and weight of Brave Valkyrie 2A should give it a fair run for it’s money. I haven’t tested it out with rubber attack drivers but it will probably work as all attack type layers work well with rubber drivers. I’ve also tested it on Volcanic’ and it’s a beast! The weight of the layer and disc keep the combo from going too wild and if you have an awakened one, (which I do not unfortunately have huhu) you might see similar results with the Xt+ variant or maybe even better ones. It might work well with 2A because of said height, but i haven’t worn it down to properly test that theory.įinal Thoughts: Through my limited testing, I’ve found that Brave Valkyrie 2A on Xtend+ in attack mode has the potential to outspin Master Bearing combos, it is a small chance however with it mostly going to draw. Tbh, evolution was inferior to variable because of it’s harder plastic and height. This would have hindered the bey’s burst resistance, however the fact that it is a double chassis fixes that problem.Įvolution’: Here we see a re-release of Evolution which was originally released with Cho-Z Valkyrie, except now it has a tighter spring. It has 2 teeth like Slash Valkyrie did and the first one is way harder to click in than the second one. It will probably work best on taller drivers to increase the chances of the rubber on the disc making contact with the opposing beyblade. The 3-bladed mode is the one I prefer though. ![]() Depending on the way you position the chassis relative to the ring, you can change the bey’s mode from a 3-bladed mode to a 6-bladed mode (exactly like King Helios). This does decrease it’s LAD but it compensates for it with the sheer attack power it possesses. It’s wings expose wayyy more rubber than the layer though. Combine that with the weird shape (the point of contact isn’t as defined as Judgement’s) and the little amount if rubber that is exposed, I don’t think this layer will surpass Judgement in terms of strength.ĢA: The chassis is also 3-sided making it a perfect fit for the Brave ring. The rubber is made of a harder material than the rubber on Judgement though, which decreases the friction when it hits the other bey. ![]() It’s supposed to increase recoil with the opposing bey which increases attack power, similar to how Judgement works. However, with the releases of the new Brave ring, it adds rubber to the main contact points of the 3 wings. Just got Brave Valkyrie from MackTheBurst today! Posting to share with you all my initial experiences and thoughts on the new bey!īrave Valkyrie: The layer is pretty much the same 3-sided attack layer Valkyrie is known to be. ![]()
